Our Story.
Hello and welcome! We are the family behind With Love From Rustic. We’re so glad you’re here :)
It all started when we bought our first home, a little 1980s ranch. Over the next several months we spent all our spare time renovating every square inch and teaching ourselves how to build furniture to fill our little home. Just as we were finishing up work on it Brock received a dream job offer across the country. Although we were sad to say goodbye to our family, friends and our sweet little ranch, we packed up and headed to Washington where we immediately fell in love with the area.
Soon after the move Kassondra was growing tired of her job of the past several years as a contract video editor. Ready for a new challenge she decided to pursue a dream she’d always had; opening her own Etsy shop. Things started small (and nerdy) with Lord of the Rings themed baby onesies and wooden signs. Before long Brock joined in and began making small furniture items for the shop.
Similarly to many others around the world, when the pandemic hit in 2020 we found ourselves with some spare time on our hands and began advertising our woodworking skills to the local community. Over the next year we built dozens of nightstands, floating shelves, barn doors, mantels, blanket ladders and vanities, all while maintaining our day jobs, renovating our Washington home and raising our son. It was crazy and we LOVED it!
From there it only made sense to combine our love of woodworking with the joy that comes from sharing in others’ most special life moments. Thus we began making farmhouse tables to rent out at local weddings and other events. We feel truly blessed to be able to live out our dreams, work together as a family and make YOUR dreams come true, too! None of this would be possible without our loyal, kindhearted customers.
